In regards to your last minute deals for the Valentine’s Day, we kinda knew that it might happen so that you realize you haven’t reserved any place for a romantic dinner for your Valentine’s Day date.
So, we compiled a list of 10 Most Romantic Restaurants in New York City (thanks to our relatively in-depth knowledge of what the city has to offer that comes from both being born and raised here to having spent enough time to figure out at least a few romantic spots here…)
Here’s the list and feel free to drop us a line to tell us if you’ve gone to any of the places and if you liked it or not (we’ll remove it from the list if your experience is not wonderful…)

In the 19th century, New York State was home to some of the most powerful abolitionists. Because of its proximity to Canada, New York became an important destination and temporary home for many African Americans fleeing slavery in the South. Today you can visit the former homes of prominent abolitionists such as Gerrit Smith (for the virtual museum, go here) and Harriet Tubman and follow the trail of the Underground Railroad, the network of secret routes and safe houses used by slaves to escape to the free states and Canada.
February is Black History Month and I LOVE NEW YORK is highlighting a remarkable period in history, the people who risked their lives to furtively abolish slavery, the sites you can visit to learn about them and the remarkable achievements that shaped our African-American heritage. The only question is where to begin? Ask I Love NY…

You think you’ve seen it all? You think you’ve had a large party after the Super Bowl XLVI game last night? Guess again!
Last night we happened to be on Time’s Square in New York City right after the game. We captured the crowd of hundreds of people who came out from numerous sports bars in the city to celebrate the victory of Giants. Time’s Square looked like one big moving and screaming crowd. It was a very exciting moment!
How did you watch the game? Any good moments to share? We’d love to hear from you!
Alright! Are we all on for the Super Bowl this weekend? Because we’ve put together THE LIST for some of the best Super Bowl places for the fun parties!
If we’re missing anything, let us know! Facebook us or Tweet your favorite places to us so that we can add them to the list!
Let’s get ready for the biggest rivalry of the year: Giants vs. Patriots!
It’s already February and we’ve got a few events for the month that you might be interested in.
First of all, it’s the I Love NYC Pets Month, here in New York City. So, if you’re a pet lover and/or know someone who is, please pass it along!
We’ll put a few of those events in the calendar for your reference and convenience to see what’s going on every day in the month without having to do your own research. For more details, you can go here.
These pet adoption events, held by Alliance Participating Organizations (APOs) at locations in and near New York City, offer an excellent opportunity for you to meet and adopt your next companion animal — that is, your new best friend!
Are you ready to add to your family? Check out the photos and videos from the last year’s single biggest pet adoption events in the country: Whiskers in Wonderland.
(All photos and videos were done by M. Silver Associates’ staffers who absolutely adore all these cats, dogs, rabbits and reptiles. What a truly great event!)
OK, we just found some interesting ‘inside’ information about New York City (per Huffington Post).
If you’ve ever wondered, and have even conducted some massive research but didn’t happen to find anything you were looking for, here’s a good guide into the New York’s 9 Most Iconic Dishes. We put together an easy all-in-one list with the locations, contact information and photos here so that you can check-in, read reviews and share your opinions - all in one spot.
If you asked us, we definitely agree with the list! Especially with the Numbers 6, 7 and 9 (Ahhhh, Katz’s! Ahhh Joe’s Pizza!) - there’s absolutely not one New Yorker who hasn’t tried those ones for sure!
What’s YOUR take on those dishes? How many of those on the list have YOU tried?
If you have something to add to the list, please go ahead right there - on Foursquare, or you can post it on our Facebook page and/or tweet it to us @MSilverPR and we’ll add it on with your personal comments. Deal?
